Minecraft - Part 1 Sh0ckit goes to church

I finally got Minecraft after watching cavemanfilms vids and i have discovered that i was a Lego deprived baby haha.

This church is the first building i made.... i am playing on peaceful mode in single player, yes i am a sook lol.

I haven't used any mods yet i am still learning all this crap but i have tried several texture packs. Any hints, tips or help would be awesome and appreciated.
