  • As to the other chemical I applied on the board after being etched, it is a tin plating solution (don't know its exact name). it prevents the copper from oxidizing and ensures better solderability. hope this helps.

  • It's ferric chloride (FecCI3) in the liquid form. Its purpose is etching the PCB to remove the unwanted copper. It should be a bit heated (about 50C) to reduce the etching time.

  • what software is that??..what kind of paper should i use to transfer the layout in a pcb?? and how can i transfer that>??

  • yeah would be nice to be told what each step was... like what you was using, and what you were dunking the pcb into etc....

  • Great camera work. Not very clear on all the steps. Would have been nice to see text descriptions of each step. I.E. What program you were using for the initial circuit layout, and exactly what chemicals were in each step.

  • @santiks my guess is a sealant to keep the copper from corroding

  • I wonder what's the red liquid you brushed onto your PCB?

  • you messed up your tweezers.

  • that was fun to watch, nice tune to
