A 20 second 4 step video process for making and potting a beginner boxwood bonsai tree. #1 Raw Japanese boxwood and pot and bottom screening. Scissors for cutting down the root height to fit the depth of the pot and the fork to help with that in removing dirt. #2 Roots cut down and much dirt removed for the right depth in the pot. The front of the tree is selected and some dirt put in the pot. #3 The tree is placed into the pot with the selected front forward and adjusted. Now its time to fill in with the left over dirt from the original container it came in. #4 The tree being fully planted, now you can wire branches more downward and side to side and place any rock for interest in the pot semi buried and maybe a Chinese mudman. I sell pots at http://www.Bonsai-mart.com . Thanks for viewing.
Thanks Aussietricker. This simple video is the basis for all wired trees. First a tree, then a pot, then some screen wired into the bottom, then the tree positioned, then wired into the pot and then the soil back fill and then wire the tree. Add a rock or a mudman if desired. Plunge pot into water for first watering. Simple.......
