Thunderstorm in Oslo

We've had 30 degrees Celsius and fantastic weather for the last couple of weeks. But today we had the most serious thunderstorm I've seen so far in the five years we've been living in this flat.

At the end of the video I helped the storm stopping using a simple dissolve... :-)

Hehe. I know. I've seen it A LOT WORSE in other countries. Especially while traveling in Asia and around Florida.

But the weather in the video is pretty special for Oslo. In other words: we don't have much serious thunderstorms here...

i wish we had that much greenery where i live. my family moved ot get away from it, and when we moved next thing you know they built all over it! They haven't touched the country area, but from what i can tell, where my old highschool is, it used to be part of a forest. And our major road that leads to interstates and other buisnesses, used to be one way each way.

its the great weather that makes such thunderstorms :) heated up places with extreme fast cooling cause alot of thunder. And we barely have nice weather in norway to get this kind of thunderstorms. Atleast in Stavanger >.>

I love this video! Really nicely done. =) I remember last summer when I tried to catch lightning on camera - it's a lot easier said than done that's for sure!
