Pushing Me Away (A Jonas Story) Ch. 1

Bella is sitting in the last class for the day with her best friend Val.

Val: hey Bella, wanna go over to my house and swim in my pool then party next week? Since finals are gonna be next week, why don't we start off the summer with a bang?
Bella: Oh I wish I could go! But I have to help out my sister clean my room cause my mom and her offered it up to my cousin from New York.
Val: Oh, so when is she coming?
Bella: Next week. But you know me, i like to put the important things off till last minute. haha
Bells ring signaling the end of the school week and weekend begins. The girls are walking to Bella's car.
Val&Bella: ready to study till our brains hurt? *laughs*

They go to a Starbucks and study until closing time. they only paid for the first cup of drinks because one of the workers was flirting with Val and gave them free drinks. Bella is dropping off Val.

Val: Good luck studying this weekend ! Don't stress yourself out ohkay ? Call me if you want to take a break ! Love you bye *while walking to her doorstep and waves*
Bella: haha I'll try to stay calm. I love you too! Goodnight *waves and drives off*

Bella gets home and of course there's yelling going on. She walks into the kitchen and sees her mom and dad fighting about something probably stupid again. They finally notice Bella in the room after a few minutes.

Dad: and where have you been huh? It's already 12 ! Explain yourself !
Bella: *sighs* I was at Starbucks studying with Val. I have finals next week. I texted both of you earlier that I was going.
Mom: well as long as you get good grades Bella. You know they make us so happy.
Bella: yeah, I know mom. *whispers more than you know* ohkay, I'm gonna go study now. Goodnight mom&dad. *kisses them both and walks upstairs to her room*
Dad: why didn't you tell her?
Mom: You saw how stressed she is about school. No need to make her worry more now. We'll just surprise her on Wednesday next week when she has her last final.

What's the surprise? Why is Bella so stressed? When do the Jonas Brothers come in? haha just kidding about the last one. I'm just doing a bit more about Bella and her lifestyle and I already wrote when JB comes in so, stayed tuned for more Pushing Me Away ! Love, maria
