This is quite possibly the best parody I have ever seen. You did a remarkable job getting the Maria-sama characters into the EVA opening. Excellent job!

The cast used here are from Maria-sama ga Miteru. Taking from the first word of the title Maria, then in put it in connection to a Hymnal type music titled Ave Maria (because MariMite is set in an all girl catholic school). The suffix -an simply denotes person so Avemarian is a made up word using the music title Ave Maria together with suffix -an.
