As hard as the skeletons hit, it's best to bring the beat down quickly instead of dallying. Also, kudos on those two hidden rooms, I didn't know they were there.

Twice, and it was because you never used your shield. The displacer beast is possibly the third most shield-friendly enemy in the entire game, next to kobolds and axe gnolls.
You obliterated those skeletons, though. I hate fighting those things.
