Because honestly, which is scarier: Getting attack by an invisible imaginary ghost, or wondering whether not a strung out meth head is going to kick in your hotel room door and try to rob you?

Exactly, so with that being said if you area small child, or pregnant, or... a pregnant small child, you should probably not watch this video. Otherwise though, GAZE IN HORROR at the terrifying experience that is IOWA'S NEWTON INN!!!

The hotel is in disrepair because nobody visits iowa. Seriously, iowa? That's probably a less popular destination for travel than detroit is.

Yeah, but that is why you would think it would be nicer! Because there is no one there to wreck the joint. I was reading hotel reviews of this place and one guy wrote in 2006 "I visited this place once before in 1976 and NOTHING HAS CHANGED!"

Yeah, it is pretty awful. I sincerely hope that someone thinking about staying at that horrible place sees this video first. Because the world NEEDS to know about the Newton.

Thanks! It was the first time I ever stayed in a hotel that made the Leland Hotel look classy. What a dump.

I live in Newton, and yes this hotel is skanky as hell but there are so many other hotels to choose from. Especially where this one is located there is at least three others within that half mile radius. Don't completely diss Iowa because one hotel that is ancient and now being run by Indians is dirty.
