Heres some clips of us training for the one shot KO and yes Im even having a go at punching, rather than teaching it I thought Id have a little play with some punching, Ive been punching a few months now and havent had any wrist problems due to the way Im holding my fist locking the wrist like Dennis and Fedor
In the middle you can see us doing some pressure testing its always nice to end the year with a bit of fun
At the end Im working a particularly heavy bag and punching the wall (Im not hitting the wall at full power). I find these 2 exercises very good for finishing the strike and refining the impact on the end of the strike, a bit like the way Steve Morris uses the wall were he holds different positions to strengthen the shot and improve impact

  • @MrMikespec Chuck Norris... Obviously... xD

  • haha what is that helmet thing made of?

  • please make a video demonstrating your straight punch i wanna learn it,it's very powerful xD

  • @billysue2 Hi mate, when the boxing glove lands on the wall the couple of inches of padding allow me to drive in that little bit more to get a better understanding of the finish or impact as if i was bare knuckle,so im landing the strike as the glove lands but driving in with the padding to the wall,a different way to train it.but a very similar thing to SM cheers

  • @billysue2 very true, the emphisis is on attacking hard by suprise and escaping as quickly as possible, with no match as such taking place more of an attack+ escape

  • @seolma hes not training for sparring, its a preemptive strike where a verbal distractor woulld be used first.Ive seen lads KO fellas with slow motion haymakers in that context,it would never work in sparring .

  • @kaarl52 if you dont drive through the wall, you arent training the finish/impact at all.You could train finish by punching fro a very short distance or even putting your fist on the wall and pressing very explosively, steve morris makes a big deal of this aspect of striking.

  • Indeed your punches looks powerful but they are far too previsible.

  • i actully think this is very good cool video. first best training in youtube haha this is hardcore

  • that bit with the dummy was funy as fuck
