btw your getting some bad detection from the clear strip thing take it off and it works alot better

12 minutes? Seriously? Just tell me if the damn Zoom works and show me for around 45 seconds. I know you want to rejoice in your quirky alternative, jokey, self deprecating lifestyle (I won't make a comment on what humans have become from this technology) (or did I just?). (see I slipped into quirky tangenting you). So, to wrap it up without the pale skin and black R-Shirt...Is the damn thing worth buying??!!! I secretly like your stuff but stock to content!

After attaching the zoom. I think u should place the sensor at about waist height. Maybe just on top of the table. That should make it easier for kinect to sense ur legs without having ur avatar dance irregularly. Its about how u place ur sensor that's impt.

the product oes not work as advertised and if you are in a room with windows right behind you when using the zoom it is 1 million times worse. The image comming through the lenses are not as clear as a result the kinect cannot track your body. If you move closer it will tell you to step back and you have the same problem. It is a waste of money. People defending it haven't had it long or have not even bought one yet so they are deffensive but save your money this is not worth it.

My Zoom for kinect is terrible. I've followed all manuals, tried all angles, tried above TV, below TV, and the only effect I get is to get unrecognized 50% of the time. The game performance is poor, unresponsive. This product is a downgrade to my kinect sensor. Even in a confined one-step-size playing area without your product is 100% better to play than with it. I'ts easier to play with my back stick to the wall than with zoom attached to it. That produt just makes kinect stupid.

Hello from England! Really comprehensive review, thanks so much guys! Answered all my questions and saved me some cash! I OOOOOH'd at your stand for the Kinect and was gonna look it up after this vid and buy one but now I know not to :) We are really limited with space here so I'll be buying this with more confidence after watching this. I would say it's the shadows. If you look at the pictures of the after putting on zoom you can see a shadow by the legs which is probably why it was freaking out.
