I love Ecco the Dolphin, always have. I can't even remember a time when I didn't.
After growing up and starting to listen to music I started to notice similarities in the style of music between the Genesis version of Ecco and Pink Floyd's music. After hearing "Welcome to the Machine" (which a level is named after in Ecco) it was abundantly clear that it was intentional.
This is the Sega CD version of Ecco the Dolphin with Spencer Nilson's score (a version which wasn't influenced by Pink Floyd, but was very still unique and quite awesome) replaced with Pink Floyd tunes.
The CD version of the game had less tracks then the Genesis version due to the size of CD audio so a few tracks are repeated. For instance "Open Ocean" and the ending theme are the same track and I had to pick a song that fit both. Despite this I think it came out rather well.
To play, burn the image to a disc (I use IMG Burn) and play it in a SEGA CD system or use an emulator (KEGA Fusion is best for SEGA CD games)
Excuse my crappy playing. It's a hard game and you really gotta play it on the actual system or with a control pad. Thank god for cheat codes.
Tracks included:
"Echoes"
"Pigs"
"Any Colour You Like"
"Time"
"Let There Be More Light"
"Marooned"
"Obscured by Clouds"
"Goodbye Blue Sky"
"Welcome to the Machine"
"Sheep"
"One of the Few"
"Shine on You Crazy Diamond"

Amazing. Always wondered how this game would sound to Pink Floyd music, especially Welcome to the Machine.

This is awesome, I love both Ecco and Pink Floyd and to see them not only together but also working together in a way that seriously works well is fantastic.
