The USGS initially reported a 7.9 quake and later upgraded the magnitude to 8.8 and then to 8.9.
'The building shook for what seemed a long time and many people in the newsroom grabbed their helmets and some got under their desks,' Reuters correspondent Linda Sieg said in Tokyo.

To trzęsienie to kara za rzeź delfinów która odbywa się na Taiji tysiące delfinów są tam torturowane i w brutalny sposób mordowane. Dobrze im tak. żeby się męczyli tak jak te delfiny. Cała Japonia pod wodę powinna pójść. Rząd oczywiście problemu nie widzi i uważa że to normalne, zezwalając na to co się tam dzieje. Zachęcam do obejrzenia filmu ''Zatoka Delfinów'' (ang.
