I figured you named it Jewbird because of the black cap on the head. I don't find it derogatory...or insulting...or racist...or anything but funny.
Your bird is a delight. Forget the people with sticks up their butts. Some people in this world will complain about anything. Jewbird is obviously well loved and cared for. And what a TALKER!

I'm not saying anything "mean" about your bird -- it's all about you and the name. I have 2 caiques and I love them, but I wouldn't name them anything close to what you named them and I certainly wouldn't teach them dirty words (they do repeat what they hear, so I guess you say those kinds of words all them time then - shame)...

The real name of this bird has nothing to do with Jews, but she named it "jewbird" -- get real if she didn't name it that way because of being deragatory toward jewish people. Why else name it that? Let's hear HER answer on that one. Until then, you won't convince me, regardless of if you say you're jewish.

Besides that, what kind of person would teach a bird to say asshole. None of my 4 parrots, including to caiques say anything derogatory. You must have no respect for others or your pets.

are you serious?? how is it that because my girl says asshole that I disrespect her? birds will repeat anything you say. I think she would have some "nice" things to say to you!!
