Great song,this sounds so original

In my opinion (after only viewing twice) the video seems to be about the world as we know it being destroyed by pollution that's why you see gas masks used throughout and inhuman bodies. Also the shots of the power plants emitting gas and the character on the almost completely melted iceberg :) That's just my opinion though! I believe the song explains something very different entirely, Juxtaposition of love and destruction?

This is how pop should be sounding.. Why is it that the more loud and shitty pop music becomes, the more it engages in shameful self-congratulation? The internet is the new forum of beauty, fuck the radio. There's too much big business infused in art. It's just like politics. You can purchase a president, or a song in the minds of the people, for the right price.

My interpretation is the video showcases how we're automatons in the sense we're compelled genetically and environmentally. I'd say the disembodied head is the revolution of the human spirit. That or they just wanted to show some trippy shit, which also works.

I heard "Somebody that I used to know" on the radio and fell in love with it. Decided to look him up on Youtube and I'm so happy I did. This man's music and music videos are absolutely amazing. Real music DOES still exist :)

His voice has a way of permeating into my soul and physical existence...and let me tell you what, it makes my sexy places happy. :)
@VampirePip Obviously you don't appreciate music that's more laid back and atmospheric, and has a sense of beauty to it? Those bands are fine, but they are in a totally different category, and how do you know if we don't already like the Arctic Monkeys. You just assumed that we didn't. Maybe the person who should be more musically open-minded and accepting is you?
