講到楊桃,許多人的印象是又酸又澀,不過,如果你吃過苗栗卓蘭白布帆的軟枝楊桃,絕對會顛覆你的想法。白布帆地名的由來,聽說是以前日本人要攻打原住民,在山上紮營,遠看­有很多的帆布(布蓬),因此稱此地為「白布帆」。而屬於台灣原生種的「二林軟枝楊桃」,白綠相間,在市場上輸給顏色較紅黃的馬來西亞種楊桃,因此幾乎銷聲匿跡了,不過,白­布帆的客家鄉親,仍然堅持守顧著這許多人記憶中的傳統台灣楊桃,因為產量有限,每年一到這個季節,熟門熟路的忠實顧客,老早就下好訂單,深怕慢一步就搶不到了。林秋伶、徐­偉文,帶您一起去品嚐軟枝楊桃的好滋味。
