I'm a bit discouraged at seeing the BlockingVolume behaving in such a mischievous way. That should not have happened.
However, you are not exactly right in saying "they cannot get the flagcarrier". The flag carrier would have very little time to destroy the respawning scavenger as it will fall down to the ground. (BTW, you are aware of the torches' destruction mechanism, aren't you?;))
