here one wrestler gets the other one in a grip that shuts down bloodstream to the brain and makes breathing impossible, quickly leading to loss of consciousness in this case.
This grip would be deadly if continued for, lets say, a minute. it shuts down up to 3 of the most important arteries supplying the brain with oxygen. So its a real fighting sport.

this doesnt look like a wrestling match to me.
actually wrestling really is an olympic sport, and all this WWF stuff is only entertainment and doesnt have anything to do with the real sport.
wrestling actually should look something like that: watch?v=ti8v_X9i7g8 if for one short moment both of your shoulders touch the floor simultaneously, you lose. So its about getting your opponent flat on the floor.
a friend of mine did it, in his active times he could lift me with one arm.
