  • nice demo. I got a roadster back in January. I'm running a Peavey Wolfgang through it, but for some reason I just can't get the saturation that I hear on youtube videos of roadsters. Boosting the signal going into the amp and a rackmount EQ helped, but it seems that you and others are getting a lush distortion without any other gear. Any tips? What are your settings on channels 3 and 4?

  • excuse me i am french, start to use a mxr 10 band eq and a lot of pedal.. it s not only the roadster sound

  • was this with your telecaster?

  • no it was a ibanez rgt 312q prestige

  • @buttmunch2g You've probably bought something by now but I have the Roadster and the cleans are amazing! You will not regret your purchase. Last amp you'll buy.

  • @squirttilithurts You are such a bozo and amateur! Shut the fuck up because yu only sound like an idiot who knows nothing about Mesa's. Go play your Line 6 Spider.

  • I had the Blackstar Stage 100 Head and they have Two Flavors of Clean. Fender clean & Class A clean. The clean on the Blackstar is cleaner IMHO. I used to run the clean volume wide-open to get tube saturation then use the master volume to make it where it wouldn't blow out the windows. LOL I now have a Mesa Roadster Head and I love it, there are almost too many tone choices. I use Ch.4 on Modern to get the liquid Metal distortion. You can also put a set of EL-34 Tubes in Ch.2 for a British feel

  • Can't make up my mind.... blackstar stage ht60 or mesa roadster... love the blackstar price and sound but there's something about this amp that keeps calling me. how does this amp sounds clean? Please someone HEEEEEEELP!!

  • geeeez easy with the delay lol

  • @nominalvariant

The Mesa Rectifier amps only sound great for METAL when you use an EQ in the effects loop to CUT mids and highs. Cut the mids to taste. Cut the highs to eliminate the FUZZ that the Rectiifer has too much of.

  • @809Metallica

I own one and it is heavy as hell 100lbs. The casters come on the amp. but can be removed. Very nice solid amp.

  • Did it Bring the Casters (Wheels) or you installed them? Is the Amp Huge and Heavy?

  • New... I paid about $2199 for mine

Used ? Sorry I dont know

  • so what are you using to alter the sound??
