I get that hes trying to teach early beginner the absolute basics. But it seems to me that he is only a beginner himself. All you beginners out their should probably take lessons from an expert, not a beginner. I'd suggest freedrumlesson, or ExpertVillage.

I hate it how people are so against this man. All he's doing is teaching, if you don't like it then don't watch it.
I can't read music, nor am I decent at it.
I played drums at school for a laugh, I got into it. I got my drum kit the other day. These videos are REALLY helpfull for a new player. If you hear 'Accent' and 'sixteenth notes' in tutorials you really don't know what they're on about.
He breaks it down for EVERYBODY to be able to play.
