Smashing Pumpkins - "Disco Town" improv song

Filmed at the V Festival, Gold Coast Australia, 30th March 2008.

After the band came out for an encore, Billy complained that the beat from The Presets on the adjacent stage was messing with his head. They then started an improv song about disco, which had been insulted earlier in the set.

If I was Billy I would be pissed off to if I could hear the other stage as clearly as that. But what he said about beating the f*ers up isn't funny or cool, the guy (as a performer) is a tool.

The Presets new album makes me want to put on my disco shoes on.

My God, the funniest part of the night. That was awesome. I was like 3/4th row. Twas awasome. This was so funny. I jumped up and yelled "Yeah Billy lets go get em' me and you'." Thank you for posting it. Awesome.

I was down there earlier, but as I later discovered the mic on my camera mostly picked up the crowd. Would have liked to be closer to film it, but hardware issues would have made posting it a pointless endeavour.

I'm a fan of both, but for completely different reasons. If I had to go on musical talent I'd be saying SP for sure.

It's good to know he's kidding, Presets are still a young band, so they're probably more likely to take stuff seriously

I was right up the front - literally 6 metres to the right of Billy. He was totally kidding around. I could see him closing his eyes to think of lyrics and he was trying not to laugh in between lines. It was hilarious.

Getting to the front was a bitch. I was knee deep in some substance that was mostly mud but also ALOT of urine. I walked through the communal male toilet the crowd had created off to the side. Once i found the front of the stage though - no more mud! Just pure SP bliss!
