A group of Cambridge, Massachusetts researchers attempt to explain and then solve the challenge of building computers that can actually "see" and understand, much like the human brain.

  • @Roodoca indeed yes, this could possibly lead to "artificial eyeballs" by connecting them the the optical nerves in the brain, it could lead to restoration of sight

  • So basically applied calculus with computer circuits that are linked to visual input. Seems like a simple science.
