@fakir0005 so if i am in a hurry why is my SCC avr below 100and get a grade A every time and the only way to do that is to take your time i have been milking for 10 years so i might know what i am doing so f**k off

@stinkey750 U should not be allowed to have any cows. U seem to be a man in a hurry. You just apply the suction cups to the teats without making sure the teats are ready & milk is freely dripping through the teats. U never examine the teats 2 see if they r dry or cracked r have cuts on the teats r the milk hole of the teats is closed cause of dried blood. I know your type. U've 70 cows & hang around the videos of people having two cows & machine milking them to lend your support.

@cowboyrich6 Then you injured the teat the previous evening with your suction cups. You are no cowboy. You are a machine boy. You are trying to make money by selling portable machines.
-
@cowboyrich6 You are a lazy guy. You have too much money. You injure the teats of your cow and show the injured teats to the whole world. Why not take up my challenge. Let me hand milk your two cows and you milk your two cows with your $1000 set up. See who gets done faster/. You have to wash the hoses and milk container and make sure there is no soap residue. You have to submit a sample of milk for soap and germ content. My hand squeezed milk will be soap and germ free.

@cowboyrich6 Cows should be milked every four hours. You get more milk. More milomeans more money. The cows udders do not get mastititis.

@stinkey750 I'm talking about two cows. You are talking about 70 Cows. Of course you would use machines if you have 70 cows. But you really are full of it if you brag about using portable machines for two cows. You'd use portable machines for 70 cows, not two cows. I bet you injure the teats of every cow. The teat of the cow in video is injured. Only you can;t see it.

@fakir0005 i think you are full of it no why you could hand milk her that fast i own a farm i got 70 cows and none of them got injured but one thing i did hear is that pulsating two fast

@cowboyrich6 U do not know how to milk a cow with small teats. Somebody has to show u. U can grab a part of the udder along with the teat and squeeze it. But you must ensure that the tip of the teat is also getting squeezed otherwise the milk will flow back in to the udder. U have to watch the hand milking videos on Utube to see how to grab a part of the udder along with the teats. I can hand milk both of you cows in 20 minutes.

u got the first step right
ur ment to strip them next
then put the claw / units on and you dont hold them the cow wont milk out propley
then when taking the claw / units off yes ether un do the tab at the bottom or dissconect the pipe
You have just two cows and use a milking machine. It would be easier if you hand milked. It would be easier for the cows also. Suction cups injure the teats quiet often. But they are necessary evil if you have lots of cows. But with only two cows you do not need a milking machine. I could hand milk the cow shown in ten minutes including washing her teats. You'd need two hours to wash the machine.

@fakir0005 You're entitled to your own opinion. But you've obviously never milked a "new style" jersey. Her teats are so small that when I milk by hand, the teats only come down to my second finger. It's so grueling, it takes 20-30 minutes to milk all three gallons! Ever since we got the milk machine, we have been able to cut down actual milking time to 5 minutes or less per cow. It takes around 10 minutes to clean the milk tank after every milking. On average I save 15-20 minutes per cow.

Nice video :) Do y'all drink your milk straight or do you do some form of pasteurizing first? Do you make cheese and butter as well? If so, how do you recommend doing so? Thanks!

@Bookwormclass09 First we use a strainer to catch any foreign material that may have gotten in the milk (i.e. hair, dirt), then we use a commercial pasteurizer that we bought to kill any bad bacteria in the milk. I don't pasteurize my own personal milk, I prefer it raw. We don't make any cheese yet, but we do make our own butter. I will post a tutorial later.

how much did this machine costed u?
nihalmukardamwala 2 months ago
@nihalmukardamwala This entire setup cost around $1000 dollars give or take. The bucket and claw was $500 and we got the stationary vacuum pump for a steal of $500. Most people like to get portable vacuum pumps because they are cheap, but we wanted a permanent one we could install. Vacuum Pump oil is around $15-$20 at tractor supply for a liter (enough to last a year).
