Police investigating a Long Island pharmacy shooting are looking into the possibility that an off-duty federal agent who confronted an armed robber there was killed by "friendly fire." Police say the robber was also fatally shot. (Jan. 2)

My prays go out to all the families involved...Almost all law enforcement are prior military serviceman and have extensive training with firearms and gain a little more when they join law enforcement, that being said I'm disappointed that the retired officer did not identify his target...John did not point the weapon at him so why pull the trigger? Lets not forget basic training.
