The Free World Charter is a set of principles that have the potential to optimise life on Earth for all species, eradicate human poverty and greed, and advance progress exponentially.
Neither political nor religious, the ten short principles of the Charter could form the foundation of a new, advanced society that uses no money, is free, fair and sustainable. They are based solely on common sense, Nature and survival.
This is our world, and we can solve many of our problems today and have a better society, by following just a few simple rules of Nature.

I think perhaps the most interesting thing about the concept of a moneyless society, one in which basic needs are provided to all people, is that in such a society, people would be forced to focus on the use of their free time.
It seems that in our case, we've chosen to use the precious little free time we have to engage in a debate. Which says, I think, something interesting about motivation.
Unless you're being paid to write comments here. If not, why do you bother?

As for your "it's common sense" claim, that is not an argument, that's a fallacy. If you're going to make a broad claim about the essential nature of humanity or about the supposed absolute truths about how societies can exist, simply saying "it's common sense" does nothing to convince. Conventional wisdom can be, and often is, wrong. (I'm committing a fallacy right now by not giving you any examples of this.)

Really, your idea that we "need" money illustrates one commonality between moneyless and money-based society: necessity. In the former, need is burdened entirely upon individuals at the expense of cooperation, and so money acts as a middle-man. In moneyless society, need would, presumably, be a community burden; in the Fresco model, a lot of this burden would be lifted by technology and and automation.
As for college, many successful people in our society didn't get even get degrees.

I imagine that in a moneyless society, a lot of things that we are presumed to "need" would prove less than necessary, so a lot of the "crap" jobs wouldn't be an issue.
In a moneyless society, I doubt 33,000 McDonald's would continue to exist; there would likely be more focus on different, less environmentally-destructive forms of food production.

We can and we will sustain without fossil fuels(we have to anyways whether we want it or not), it is clear that you do not know how the system was created and works, it is also very clear that you are not familiar with the work of a life-time of a man called Nicola Tesla. I recommend you to inform yourself more, the mainstream media will not help you much in this matter or any other, I highly recoomend you a movie called "Thrive: What on earth will it take?"....your ignorance is evident.....

We can't sustain ourselves without fossil fuels yet, we're working on it, but at present, it's impossible.

i don't imagine we'd be running the world on fossil fuels to such an extent in a free society, but rather on more eco-friendly sources, such as solar and wind energy. We're already using too much oil to sustain the current (and growing) energy consumption of the world anyway, so its debatable whether our grandchildren will even be left with any. 'Special' jewels such as diamond and gold will maintain their value without a monetary system, just like they did before fiat currency was invented.
