Sorry if this sounds rude I really do not mean it to be but why does you'r FurSuit have such a long snout/muzzle??
-
What kind of paper masha mix did you use?
-
Ok I can't get my jaw to work would elastic work on this base?
-
can you further explain how to hinge the jaws to the head? This will work fantastic, thanks!

I'm going to make one of these, and I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly... So, I cut up cardboard and shape it, but then I duct tape it (just enough to hold it in shape, not too much?) And then paper mache it to the desired form using newspaper and elmer's glue. (do I water down the glue?) And then for the jaw, I make it so the "jawbone" fits inside the head bit, and hinge it... Using what, like, metal brads? Anyway, thanks!

Would this type of base work for making a tiger fursuit head?

do you think you could do a tutorial on how to make the base?
Are the paparazzi mâché bases more fragile ? Are they cool to play around in or should someone with a paparazzi mâché head try to avoid rolling around , bumping noses , laying down and general contact to the snout ?

It's really durable. I've rolled around on the ground, played with dogs, dropped it off tables and run into doors, and it's totally held together. I can even drink from a 750 ml regular alcohol bottle using only the jaw to hold the bottle or flask. It's super neat. just make sure to apply at least two good layers of paper mache to the cardboard base.

I made my Fursuit head and Quadsuit head with paper and it's pretty durable, but to give the shape of the muscles, you should use foam, just to make the details

@gramotoons
I totally agree. The addition of foam to this mask is detailed in Part 2 of this video
