@banjobob0313 -you could always do a skype lesson if you were set up for it. keep poking around. My irish fiddle teacher does this w/some students. my OT teacher might as well.

i play it in both.. obviously i dosnt really matter.. but the d tuning does give it a different feel..mark plays it real swell tho...

@banjobob0313 Lundy played it in standard tuning GDAE. It sounds like Mr. Campbell is playing in ADAE for some nice droning. There is a record floating around on the net of Emmett Lundy's 1941 recordings. Give it a search.

I will think of a video which will explain the circle better, perhaps a diagram! I wish I knew a fiddler in your area, but if you keep poking around sessions, I think you will run across someone.
