BANDA de GAITAS is a bagpipe ensemble directed by MARCO TADOLINI, zampogna teacher at the SCUOLA DI MUSICA POPOLARE DI FORLIMPOPOLI, italy; in this video you can see their first concert in a public context, by the annual festival beginning of june; folk music only is being teached there and the relevance of of SMP in italy is quite high (20 years of activity, dozen of groups founded, hundreds of peoples involved...)
"Maestro" Tadolini in white shirt, plays zampogna a chiave, guitar, tamburello; with the red gaita Daniele Carpi; the "virtuoso" is Matteo Rimini, gaita with three drones; the girl is Anita Battilani; Giampiero Cignani is the "special guest" in this concert playing clarinette.Enjoy the sound of the GAITA GALLEGA :)
