@TsukasaAn Unfortunatly TsukasaAn is right, the radiation can not pass through their containers. A gamma ray has the highest penetrating power. (there are 3 types of radiation alpha beta gamma) in simple terms.. but yes a gamma ray can not pass through an inch of lead (Pb). Anyways, some half-lifes can last longer than 25000 years...

Whats all this crap about Japan? they stop the Nuclear Reactor from going threw a meltdown? Does anyone here understand Chemistry and how a Nuclear Reactor is Ran and Maitaneced? Japan is okay no problems and The Nuclear Waste is harmless unless you open its container WITCH IS A LEAD BARREL INCASED IN MORE LEAD AND FINALLY INTO A CONCRETE CASEING. The particles can not Go threw all of it its too dense for it. And the waste hasa half life witch is long but will die off eventually.

@irobot2009able Umm? in Japan they didnt have a nuclear melt down? they were able to stop it. In the Right hands the plant is a safe unit of constructoin but... this was fucking russians? they honestly had no idea what they were doing who knows maybe some or alot were drunk at the time. and the Nuclear waste cant send out Radiation threw the Walls of thier containers sence the Radiation cant penetrate the Atoms of the walls. Trust me Nuclear Reactors are much safer now.

in the begging... there was a radioactive cloud dumbass (i'm sure there was) but that helicopter clipped the crane..... hence the rotors snapping off.... retardation at its finest...
