Sony's Latest Flagship: NEX-5 Compact DSLR Camera is a camera truly like no other in its class. a mix between Digital SLR and the Compact Camera, this baby sports all the features you would expect from a DSLR except its housed in a Compact Camera's body.

Made from a Magnesium Alloy Construction the camera feels good to hold, very solid, high build quality, 100% Sony in every way.

the double lens kit is amazing, both lens' made from quality materials combined with beautiful design, just jawdroppingly gorgeous to look at.

The NEX-5 Shoots amazing pictures using its 14.2 Resolution, as well as amazing AVCHD 1080i Full High Definition Video, truly amazing.

Camera comes in Silver and Black.

  • @vn01208503 Tell you what....I never use the pancake lens. I reckon I should have bought it without it, but seems like a good deal since the pancake is $299 separately so its kinda better deal to buy it with it. but the 18-55mm multipurpose is the best, never find a reason to switch to the pancake

  • @vn01208503 if u have lots of money , u can buy both for it is both useful . but if one one ,it is recommended to buy a 18-55mm lens than the pancake .. evrything can be done with 18-55mm lens whereas pancake is for wide-angle purposes ..

  • and btw good unboxing, the songs make me exciting also XD

  • so umm is it worth to buy double lens kit? i mean do we really need 2 lens? either pancake or 18.55 lens seems fine to me =O

  • congrats, I'm waiting for mine to arrive, hopefully tomorrow, nice unboxing too.

  • @0escape0the0fate0 yeah I know ey, at the time I had my 12.1 mpx phone with xenon flash I was like fuck yeah, high quality images, sharp crisp...but now comparing them, and NEX-5 just tears those pics apart. its just really good, apparently its using an SLR sensor in the NEX-5 which is good too, only thing I can fault is the auto focus, its sometimes a bit slow, but its no big deal I think.

  • @xReventonx haha, ps i dont have an ipad , there is no hole for my ;p and i hate itunes ;p.

you should know something. a camera on a phone is always shit even when it has 300000 mpx. just look at the lens on your phone and you nex-5 . there is a reason for that big lens. and its the same deal with your sensor, a bigger sensor is better,

  • @0escape0the0fate0 exactly, this being my first digital camera ever only because I used to use my phone which I had 12.1mpx since I didnt want to carry 2 devices, a bulky ugly camera and a phone, only reason I got the NEX since its so sexy at the same time, yeah well exactly,

with this, I just sync the pics with iTunes and then edit them in photoshop on my iPad which is less complex doing it on the computer ;) (and more fun too :D

  • @xReventonx haha, I get your point, and the point of the camera, there is a group (witch you are in) that wants the Quality of a slr, but doesn't want a big or heavy camera,

me myself. whenever i see something cool i snap a pic with my blackberry, and when i am on a holiday or have a shoot. i grab my chunky dslr ;p.

maybe I need to fill that hole between my Blackberry and my dlsr with a nex-5 (just like the ipad does ;p)

  • @0escape0the0fate0 yeah the price was shit !!! but I really didn't want an SLR, just something that does SLR quality and compact is what I wanted, It does great shots which I'm happy with, but it's obviously no serious competitor to an SLR :D
