I don't yet understand your point about contraception. A condom is merely a physical barrier between the sperm cells and the ovum. A man and woman can stand beside each other and physical barriers still remain between those cells, those basic building blocks. What difference is it if the separation is miles apart or microns thick? Until contraception occurs, the ovum and sperm cells will remain ovum and sperm cells. I'm not saying that I disagree, only that I don't yet see your point.

@suey4040 Birth control pills do not always stop ovulation and the third stage, the thinning of of the uterine wall, the pill becomes an abortafacient. If you believe life begins at conception, not implantation, then an abortion may occur.
