  • Lovely, musical, passionate, spirited, accurate -- and a fine orchestra and conductor. One should be so lucky as to see a performance like this once or more in one's life. Fortunately I saw Jeff Bradetitch and Franco Petracchi perform it at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, a few years ago, but it was not with orchestra - Jeff's wife on piano. Just think how great this would be with professional recording -- sigh. But, we are so lucky to have this on YouTube. Bravo to all concerned.

  • @RMartin973 we have recorded it with the Frankfurt Radio Syphony Orchestra, for CPO ;)

  • @ShredRedemption hold up. I'm not saying I am better. I knoww they are very very good. I am saying they didn't put a whole lot of music into this piece. Listen to Tom Martin's recording with Petrochi; It is a whole world different.

In this performance they are just playing notes, not making music.

  • @mcnaire2004 cough cough asshole. Are you serious? You are talking like you are a better fuck than these two. I see nothing wrong with how they approached this piece. And yes, the reason it might happen to sound like it was from looneytunes is due to the fact that, as you probably know, they put music from the same period Bottesini composed.

  • Not going to lie; both of you have great skill, but this seems like a joke. More like loonytoon music than actual music.

  • UGH you can not cut the song off with a half cadence like that!
