@exelale i have galaxy too,but it works good.Try checking it when the Moon is visible in the sky,and then try to find moon,it should work.This app does not need gps or internet connection.also check wheter the date and time is correct in your phone according to the place you live in.gud luck
Oh...and if you are already calibrated you may have the location on Manual. If this is so, then you will have to put in your location. Better to use GPS though.
If you are in New York and your phone thinks you are in Florida, then you will never see the correct objects.
i've intalled google skymap on my android phone (samsung galaxy), but it doesn't work well as yours. if i search for moon it points in a wrong direction. does it work wiht gps or with internet connction? (i use it without an internet connection)

Works with GPS and internal compass. You have to make sure you have the compass calibrated correctly. Look up how to calibrate and you will be ok.
