Voorstelling rijders WK Stockcar F1 longtrack baarlo 1990

Goedemiddag, dames en heren. Namens De NACO, stichtingsbestuur van Sportpark de Berckt, en het gemeentebestuur van Baarlo en Maasbree, heet ik u allen van harte welkom. Ook onze bezoekers uit België, ebenso wie unsere deutschen Freunden and the People from England. We hope that you you very good zult amuseren, diesen Mittag, op de mooiste racetrack van Europa'. De buitenlandse talen zijn niet geheel volgens het boekje, maar de toeschouwers weten wat er bedoeld wordt. Dan klinkt door tientallen luidsprekers het Wilhelmus. Aan vier masten worden de vlaggen gehesen. Met de oproep: 'Drivers, start your engines', wordt de baan vrijgegeven voor een middag autospektakel, snelheid en sensatie.

I am German and I love this Track.

I live in the place Baarlo, not far from the track. And if you look now to the track, it's NOTHING, lost.... A stupid camping, called "The Berckt" (not the castle, but the camping) has bought it, and is placed full of those mini-replaceble-camping-houses­.

But yeah, 8 years back, it was a LOVELY time, always there, always.

In Venray, there gonna build a new track. It's completed in 2009 i think....

yeah i used to go every year, i was little then though lol, i used to sit on andy smiths or frankie waimans car when they went round :D oh the memories, i went to the remains of baarlo the other day.... so depressing :(

i will never forget baarlo,simply the best in europe,really sad that they shut it down
