I've listened to the other divas on YouTube singing "Rose's Turn," from "Gypsy." I keep hearing about Ethel Merman's original Broadway Version, but couldn't find it on YouTube so I'm posting the audio. (I've created a repeating video montage of some of Merman's photos, for visual interest). How do you think she compares to the divas that followed her? : Angela Lansbury, Rosalind Russell, Bette Midler, Tyne Daly, Patti Lupone, Liza Minelli, Bernadette Peters,Betty Buckley, etc? Who gives your favorite vocal delivery? Who's acting of the song moves you the most? Enjoy!

TRUST me, we will not be listening to Glee in 30-40 years, we will STILL be listening to Ethel, Judy, Liza, Barbra, Patti, Bernadette... You won't though... You'll be in a soup line.
