  • Yes, it uses VDPAU for all h264 and for HD mpeg2, so iplayer is accelerated, as would be YouTube videos.

  • what remote are you using? My Windows MC remote (RC-6) does not want to work with XBMC on Ubuntu. Great Video btw

  • I'm using a Playstation 3 Bluray remote, with a cheapo bluetooth dongle

  • where did you get one?

  • NVIDIA were kind enough to loan me the reference unit, the case isn't available commercially, which is a massive shame

  • Does this run inside linux or is it its own bootable OS? I just bought a Giada Atom 330 + ION net top and am trying to figure out how to get it to work with my big MKV collection.

  • @Magnuspire and why the explanation?

  • @fantasmaofdoom

i guess its the cinema version its 22:9 instead of 16:9

  • BTW is that 2012 1080P? because it didn't fill up the whole screen?

might be stupid question yeah but i just think it's kinda weird?

  • @experimental0000 Well the Ion complements the Atom. I saw that video from HD Nation, and as long as it plays back the videos fine, that's pretty much all you have to worry about in an HTPC.

  • @kiddfroster with 512MB of ram for the video I understand it's not bad, but the Atom to me seems a bit too weak to compliment the Ion. on HD Nation Robert Heron built an Atom Ion HTPC and on high speed net it stutters and lags but it's due to the Atom CPU not the Ion GPU nice vids man :)

  • @experimental0000 The Ion chip is more than capable of handling it. :P

  • I'm sure it looks better in person, as sometimes trying to capture things like this don't come out as good as they look in person but it still looked really good on the video. Is it an Intel Atom CPU or something with more horsepower to help out the ion chip? very nice vod thanks for sharing

  • @vbobkovsky lol, me too, what is it about that little shit?! I want it THAT small with the Nvidia logo. lol

  • 2x faster with Clarkdale
