I work at Publix, and I'd be happy to answer you. You can get regular wings battered and fried, and not spicy. But.. you can not get them for the same price as the 20 pc hot and spicy. Wings like that you have to pay for by the pound. I assure you the chicken is not frozen, it comes in fresh every other day. And everything is hand breaded. The employee's might be misunderstanding you, ask them to bread you up plain drumettes and see where that gets you.

I would also like to clarify that we do not have spicy breading. The breading is all the same, for the hot wings, the chicken itself is spicy, and then you bread it in the normal breading, and sauce it again with hot sauce. There is no spicy breading, just breading.

@noodles1987model Well I hope you can understand where I'm coming from and the reason I felt this way.. I will try to order them that way and see what happens, but I've been told no so many times.
