Tim Malchak - It Goes Without Saying

Interesting fact: Tim Malchak was half of the duo Malchak and Rucker who charted five hits in the mid 1980s. Malchak and Rucker was the first interracial country duo to reach the charts. After the duo split up, Tim went on to chart seven hits in the late 1980s. This song "It Goes Without Saying" reached #35 on the Billboard Country chart in 1988 (Alpine 008).

I played almost all of Tim's music, including those with Rucker in the early days. There were some interesting indies in country music, but so few made with the QUALITY that Alpine gave. That quality helped move Tim's talents to be accepted by a major. Most major labels are impatient or give inadequate support and that didn't help Malchak going forth. His ministerial works are outstanding! My future radio station will broadcast BOTH his country & gospel works.

Really liked this song when it was out, I remember calling Russ Lawrence on WZPR in Meadville Pa and requesting this song. Great to hear it again.
