The Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet harkens back to the Gretsch solidbody guitars of the sixties, with a double-cutaway chambered mahogany body and Gold Sparkle-finished arched maple top. The Double Jet is a veritable old-school tone factory, thanks in large part to it's pair of Gretsch Mini Humbuckers. These pickups have a very even, balanced character whether clean or dirty, making the Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet as smooth or as biting as you desire. Master volume, Master Tone, and a 3-way pickup selector lend to their versatility. The unique 24.6" scale length gives the Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet that distinctive Gretsch feel, enhanced by the set mahogany neck and 12" radius, 22-fret bound rosewood fretboard. An Adjusto-Matic bridge, vintage style tuners, and a Bigsby B-50 tailpiece keep tuning and intonation solid while you get your rockabilly vibrato on.

  • @MrV1C7OR the reason gretsch guitars are so eccentrically colored is because they started as a drum company and their first guitars used the drum kit finishes resulting in a rather...unique look. i agree they can look a little jarring though lol. some of them (like the firebird powerjet) are gorgeous however.

  • @GamerConor Jeez who cares how good the picture looks, 360 is more than enough. were becoming so spoiled about this stuff...

  • Andy, how much setup work gets done to the guitars you use in your online demos? All your guitars sound very much in tune and the intonation always sounds good. Can you list the steps of what you do to a guitar before a demo? Thanks, TJ

  • Is this a G5248t or a G5445t? Is there any difference between these two models?? I would like to know because I really love the sound of THIS very guitar, so that I know the one I will buy. Thanks in advance to the good soul that will answer me :)

  • i like your voice andy

  • @kendorobban

Yes, this is the same as the G5445T. Gretsch does use a model number system, but the numbers can also denote the color of the guitar as well, which makes it easier to just say "I have a Gretsch G5120 in black" than saying "I have a Gretsch G5125, which is the black G5120."

  • @44eelz the video bitrate on youtube is linked to the audio quality. So, yes, it matters.

  • Is this the G5445T? I'm thinking of buying one but can't find any sound-samples of it. Unless this is the same??

  • please do a demo of the Gretsch Electromatic pro jet! i'm getting one tomorrow!

  • Does it come left handed?

  • @manbearpig937 Have you heard how this thing sounds? It's one of the best guitars out there. It's got a warm, unique sound, interesting looks, comes stock with a bigsby, and it's a Gretsch. And it's only $600. This is a great deal, for a great guitar.

  • love those thumb inlays. only the dots on the side actually help the player, and I like that classy clean look.
