Hehe official release is now 2009. I am rather excited to see this coming out soon. Looking forward to trial the 22nd of Feb. ^^

I am a hardcore FPS gamer and absolutely love MMORPGs but the whole auto attack aspect needs to go.. It has been used and reused over and over again too many times already and has become very blatantly boring.

I think it is time we allowed for a new generation of gameplay to take a stand for a change and Darkfall is a good start if anything for this.

i bet this game fails. they haven't showed anything with real gameplay, its all cinematics w/ no UI, and don't show what its really like to play the game. its the conan of '09.

had footage out three months ago had ui out one month ago had numerous nda allowed previews by legit sources weeks ago had acknowledgments from even mainstreamers best read what a cinematic is before you call bluffing cause you dont know what one is if your saying live footage is a cinematic

dont put darkfall in any category but its own age of conans target market was non pvp non competitive gamers. make better comparisons before thinking about darkfall

showing camera's doing flyby's of a battle scene is NOT gameplay, which is what 90% of this is. while there is UI in some videos, its never shown while actually doing something in combat, just while running around. also, this game has been in development for 8 years, its just another duke nukem forever ordeal. what i meant by saying its like conan was that its gonna get all this great hype as the greatest mmo ever and fail to meet expectations.

showing cameras do flybys of live footage is game play which is directly opposite of a cinematic which is artificial footage of a game that can never actually be repeated or recreated by a player ui has been shown both in combat and not in combat if you wanna argue it hasnt been shown much thats one thing but claiming it has definitively never been shown is a error because it has compare Adventurines development to any other small sandbox dev team its on time and never been hyped by Adventurine

Looks like Tes:4 Oblivion, but with worse graphics (which isn't THAT important), but also online (and I've always wished Morrowind or Oblivion could be online). Might try it out.

The gameplay is amazingly fun if you prefer the challenge. Winning in this game gives you a much better feeling than winning in other games because the emotional range is insane. Problem is most people cant handle the lows.
