Mr. Dick Detter of Royston, GA. Died Nov. 27th@ Home. He was born in Royston Aug 8ty 1926 to Dewey Detter & Berta Lee Anderson Detter. He attended Royston high school and in 1944 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the South Pacific.
In 1952 he married Helen Knight and they had four children.
He began working in the plumbing tade in 1948 and founded Detter Plumbing in 1972. Two of his sons wnt into business with him and they continued to all work together until he retired. Dick always treated his customers with respect and gave good and honest service.

He was a member of the VFW post 4828 in Royston. He was a good father spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. A man that loved life he always had time for a talk or a laugh or a loan( if he had it).
