Simon Tennis - overheads and volley drill age 9

When you like to come to net like Simon does, you have to be able to hit overheads and end the point with an aggressive put away volley - that's what this drill is all about. Sometimes a drop shot will work when you're close to the net but hitting a strong angle and driving the ball off the court is almost always a sure thing. Notice Simon's footwork as he turns to the side and shuffles backwards to get under the ball as if it's a serve - that's the key for a good overhead.
