I'd be very interested in seeing some of the ways you work within the DNC laws and cold call. The general concensus in my office and others I've talked to is that Expired/FSBO cold calling is now dead, in fact our manager has said simply...don't do it.
Squidly, you must not know much about the DO NOT CALL registry. Because it's been around for quite a while and the telemarketing industry continues thriving. Why? Well; it simple, because there are many ways to effectively work within the laws and still have huge success. And trust me when I say this... The DNC list is the LEAST of The Real Estate industries problems is this economy my friend.
I don't know what business you're in, but the do not call list has destroyed cold calling in Real Estate. If you're not generating leads (i.e. getting them to come to you) in real estate you're out of business.
Yeah... Okay! I'm going to have to agree with SnoopySuited's comment. Mr. Tyler Wilson's video is somewhat informative in a few respects but his foundation is cracked. Sales is all about the cold call. Prospects calling you is not selling, it's order taking. Thats like calling someone in retail a "sales person" Come on! Those people can't "Sell" they just sit around and wait for the money to come to them. Pick up your skirt, grab your manhood and go sell something will ya! Don't be "scurred!"
