@pearledduck so having an asian character instead of a black character is rascist wtf? first: if you are dont like about the lack of minorities in the series why would you find it rascist when an asian got a role instead of a black person (THATS special treatment and actually rasicsm) second: they picked the ppl most fitting for each role without regard for their skin colour, i think you are the rascist not the casters.

I mostly ignored the new series, although I did record it for friends. They should have come up with a truly new, original show. But aside from that, I'm amazed that people didn't notice how racist the new version was. Think about it. There were two black characters in the original series, who became a white guy and an asian girl in the new one. But I didn't see any Occupying going on over that, or Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton shaking down the production company...

I just finished a 4 day marathon of watching the series. I began to think about the all the booze and death on the show and came up with a guess of how much was drunk ( or dranked) More than i could ever afford.

And by my calculations only 13 people survived.

any who I liked it better than Starwars or lord of the rings . Of all the characters Starbucks intrigued me the most . I believe a movie about the Starbuck character in in order

@vBDKv Well, would you have the same thoughts if the character of Starbuck was a man? If a woman is a slut and bitch what do you call a man who acts the same way? I was wondering on how they were going to portray Starbuck as a woman. They didn't a change a thing. In the original series Dirk Benedict played the part of Starbuck. Starbuck the man drank heavily, smoked cigars, gambled, would get into fights with surperior officers and others, and would whore around with every woman he could find.
