No, Gideon asked God to wait until he had brought Him an offering, which if God accepted would prove He had really appointed Gideon to save his people. This came before the event with the fleece. God "consumed" the offering with fire, showing He approved of Gideon.
With the fleece, Gideon was not demanding God prove Himself, rather he asked for the sign so that the people would believe Gideon had been appointed by God, and to strengthen Gideon's weak faith. In neither case was God tested.

"A true Christian would never ask God for these proofs, as it would be "putting God to the test," meaning, asking Him to prove Himself."
Actually, that's only true IF one is "talking to God". And, by your standard, you're also condeming Gideon- who laid a fleece before God as a test of authenticity.
No winning lottery ticket, huh?

Please provide solid evidence, then, that being gay is a morally neutral, genetic characteristic.
-
So many have left "the gay lifestyle?" That's a really unsupported statement as is also the idea that being gay is a choice. This is real civil discrimination.
-
Gay/lesbians like to defend their lifestyle as a matter of civil rights, but of course it is no such thing. The truth is that being gay is a choice; if not, then how is it many have left the gay lifestyle? To compare it to civil rights issues of the 60s should be abhorrent to black people who fought real civil discrimination.

sigh. . . . As much as it stinks. If you put your hand on a hot stove, your going to get burned. The same is true about Gods Word! If you go against it, your going to get burned (sooner or later). If Gods Word is not true then he cannot be God.
I guess this is all just an inconvenient

Not ALL people who have no videos of their own fall nto the "mean, hateful, confusers" category. It is strange, however, that the NO VIDEO rule applies 98% in such cases.
People who offer upbuilding, friendly comments almost always have their own video contributions. The "pattern" is clearly supporting my theory.
Negative, mean, unfriendly = no videos.
Friendly, positive, uplifting = videos.
It's not ALWAYS so, but almost always.
God help us. The ignorant and intolerant in this country will indirectly be responsible for the demise of the US as we know it.
