No copyright violation intended. Great acting by Ray Wise as Leland Palmer.

  • That was acting? He's lucky the producers didn't mistake this for a psychotic break and call an ambulance!

  • @greyeyed123 well it is supposed to be a psychotic break more or less ;)

  • Wow 10K views :) thanks guys & gals ;)

  • that rapid breathy laugh at 1:02 is the best part of the scene hahaha the way the music starts abruptly

  • @JoJoShabadoo314 Absolutely agree! Gives me chills every time ;)

  • I love everything in this scene. I love the brilliant acting and movements from the characters. I love the timing and atmosphere the dark music creates. I love the smooth camera movement. I love the way the furniture is arranged in the rooms. I love the dark fir interior. I love how the image with that mirror far away at the end of the scene rises suspense given what we know at that point in the series. Absolutely fantastic scene.

  • @greyeyed123 I think you had intended to reply to HLNGR1.

  • @DarkeningSkies1 I guess the future is NOW.

I found the commercial. It wasn't Dr. Pepper, but Diet Sprite:

  • @HLNGR1 Oh, I know. I watched this, and every other episode, in '90 and '91. I still have my video tapes! lol (I think there is a still a Dr. Pepper Commercial in there with Sharon Stone before she became really famous in "Total Recall" and "Basic Instinct". She's on a train running around trying to get a can of Dr. Pepper, if I remember correctly. The episodes in '91 all start with ABC News Briefs of the Gulf War.)

  • @metaguru Yeah, it was after Leland became "fully taken over" by BOB that Wise was able to really open up the acting chops. That guy is amazing.

  • Personally, I think Leland is the most twisted, sickest and scariest character ever, counting film and television.
