Giro d'Italia 2010 (cycling race through, well, mostly Italy) comes right through Pijnacker on it's way (3rd stage) to Italy via Amsterdam to Middelburg! Quite an event to witness, especially here. Quite amazing the work that goes into just mere seconds of race bikes whizzing by. Saw Evans with the pink jersey and some Rabobank team members.

België heeft niet lang moeten wachten op een ritzege in de Giro. Wouter Weylandt (Quick-Step) won in de derde rit de spurt van een uitgedund peloton. Aleksandr Vinokoerov neemt de roze leiderstrui over van wielrenner Cadel Evans.
