Lars is not one of the best drummers. However, Lars is one of the best song composers. He had part in The Four Horseman, Creeping Death, The Call of the Ktulu, Orion, Battery, Dyers Eve. Those are some of the most epic songs in metal and damn near everyone will agree on that. So fuck you for hating on Lars. He shits more talent than you have ever displayed.

Lars is a pretty shitty drummer, especially given his age and how long he's been drumming. I know young teens I've given lessons to who are leaps and bounds above Lars in skill and groove.

He is and always has been the weakest link in Metallica. Justice was an amazing progressive album that was held back purely by Lars inability to keep up with the rest of the band.
