  • I hope someone is writing a biopic about all this.

  • Matthew Bannister did write about the Dunedin scene in "Positively George St". I like the book, mainly because he quoted one of my letters to the editor in the ODT!!!!

  • "....a big 'stunk' in Dunedin!"

    Nothing worse!

  • I could never find any music to hear by Eric Glandy's Memorial Big Band; just vinyls from NZ trade sites that go for over $100. Other than that, they are pretty much unsearchable. I wish there was someone out there that would rip it.

  • Awsome doco!! thanks for posting it, shame the Wanker Music Group blocked the last part, what a sad irony.....enjoyed the rest though

  • Thanks mate, this video has helped me out with my essay! cheers!! Viva New Zealand MUSIC!!!

  • Wow. See Stephen Malkmus at 4:45.

  • "Box Elder", I think.

  • cool that Flying Nun were so intermangled with

the Fall, from one side of the planet to the other.....surely some method in that.

  • tres lolz at the fall bit, I believe also MES rang up every smith in the phone book while in auckland to invite them up to a party in the hotel for hence they were all family.
