You're so right with the comparisons to Lincoln, who always took the hard road and didn't discourage a good arguement, because he was confident enough in his ability to discern that he wanted to hear all sides. Hillary historically lacks this, as does Bush. Obama has built a career on bein a listener and making sound decisions once he knows the facts. Bush is surrounded by very smart people but he listens only to the loudest and most loyal.
