I understand what you mean. But there is more to it, I may just put two point on what you said.
1. Democracy is not the best thing for every place in the world, not at least right now. - Coz its too expensive both time and money wise (protests, hearings, testimonies etc etc...) - And its easy to alter masses coz we humans are irrational by nature, becoz of what people like hitler came into power.
2. How you get democracy? just by bombing everything? or by proposing what is good?
